Our cherry brandy, known in Dalmatia as Višnjevac, is a timeless expression of Mediterranean fruit and family tradition. At OPG Branko Marinov, we craft this liqueur with the same care and patience that has defined our vineyard and olive groves for generations. Made from hand-picked cherries grown under the Dalmatian sun, our cherry brandy captures the essence of summer — vibrant, aromatic, and full of life.

Each bottle begins its journey in our orchards near Primošten, where the warm coastal air and rocky soil help our cherry trees produce fruits rich in flavor and deep in color. Once harvested, the cherries are carefully macerated in our own pure grape brandy — a process that allows the natural sugars, aromas, and vivid red pigments to blend harmoniously with the spirit. Over several weeks, the mixture transforms into a smooth, ruby-colored liqueur with a distinctive balance of sweetness and strength.

Our Višnjevac is a handcrafted cherry rakija, made by slowly macerating ripe sour cherries in our homemade Lozovača. The process takes weeks of natural sun exposure, allowing the fruit to fully infuse the brandy with deep red hues, rich aroma, and a delicate sweetness. We add only a hint of sugar to enhance the flavor without overpowering the natural character of the cherries. The result is a beautifully balanced fruit brandy with a smooth, velvety texture – perfect for after meals, special occasions, or as a heartfelt gift. Produced in small batches and bottled by hand, this liqueur captures the essence of traditional Dalmatian craftsmanship.
